Hoodoo

A VR short created out of the Blue Zoo Pitch program, I initially pitched Hoodoo to the whole company in 2015 when I was still a trainee which was definitely an experience! Ha~

Hoodoo is the story of a cat that goes for a vacation and manages to make trouble for everyone around him. I went on to Direct and board Hoodoo with a small team over the next year, it changed shape many times before it ended up where it did. I was interested in how you could involve the viewer in the story itself, starting with surrounding them in story before moving onto using interaction to help the story progress.

It won Best Virtual Reality Short at the Big Mini Media Festival in 2018
